The yurt is amazing for private glamping. If you’re looking to reconnect with nature and yourself this place might be a right choice. Be aware if you have a small or low car though because the road to the property isn’t paved. It gets really hot there too so wake up as early as possible to enjoy the incredible sunrise.
Other then that everything as described. The yurt is beautiful and comfortable. Eric was very nice and accommodating.

Eric went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional, aside from it being super hot during the day no ac in the yurt obviously , we were able to hook up a fan , perhaps a second solar battery would be a good idea in the future but aside from that everything was wonderful

The yurt is a comfortable place to stay in the Twentynine Palms area. It is a modest 15-20 minute drive to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Eric is a courteous and thoughtful host. He’ll be happy to offer assistance to you should you need anything during your stay.

Wow, what an experience! I have a lot to share.
First of all, what a unique place to stay. Just know that you’re truly in the desert! It is quite a remote location. Dirt roads, spotty cell service, solar panel power, an outdoor toilet that faces the mountains, and no AC! But if you’re ready to rough it for an experience, you’ll find exactly what you’re searching for here. Be sure to come with plenty of gas in your tank, lots of water and snacks!
We were sad that the outdoor shower wasn’t working for us, but Eric was more than apologetic and helpful in trying to resolve. Ultimately, he made two trips to try to fix it and refunded us a night since it didn’t work out. Great hospitality!
Won’t forget it!

I had a great experience at this AirBnb! If you're looking for a minimalist experience where you can really chill and connect with nature, this place is perfect. The stars at night were incredible, and it's also proximate to Joshua Tree National Park. I will say the tent is already pretty hot by 7am, but it's cooler outside in the morning so it made for a nice place to wake up early and get the day started. Eric is also SUPER helpful in terms of making recommendations, and makes you feel safe staying out a bit off of the grid. Even though there wasn't Wifi, I was surprised I still had service with Sprint, and was able to stream music/get directions/talk on the phone. I would recommend this place and would stay here again in the future!

Eric was a great host and very informative. The place was beautiful and clean. It does get hot early in the morning so make sure you have something planned to do throughout the day. I would definitely stay at Eric’s place again!

Super remote. The Yurt is well kept and definitely falls under the ‘glamping’ category. I would suggest to definitely bring a canopy as there isn’t much shade! Power adapter was working for everything besides plug so always good to bring a second adapter as you are almost in the middle of no where. Outdoor shower was nothing short of magical. Eric was super quick w his responses and gave great recs. I was camping alone and had an initially scary but what turned out to be funny experience & he put my mind at ease. And by funny I mean I was laughing at my ridiculous worry that something was outside the tent that wanted to have me for dinner! Remember you’re in the desert and this is home to many creatures. You are safe and sound in Eric’s whimsical Yurt.

Eric was very responsive and informative - his suggestions for food in the area and assistance with operating at the space itself was very helpful in what was a wonderful time that we would definitely recommend and will be back to!
Thanks again ❗️

Eric’s yurt is filled with many chic touches and is situated on a very remote property in Wonder Valley. We stayed in early June—be advised that there is no shade to be found on the property (or really anywhere in the valley!) and it is EXTREMELY hot inside and outside of the yurt during the day. If you’re staying during the summer it’s best to plan to be out & about from 9am until after 6pm for this reason. The outdoor shower wasn’t working during our stay, though Eric was super quick to respond and tried to fix it while we were there; probably it will be back in working order for future stays!
We saw some of the most intense and incredible sunsets out at Eric’s property, and enjoyed experiencing this beautiful and harsh natural landscape. Thanks Eric!
